Frequently Asked Questions

Can you repair cast iron or cast aluminum?

Yes, we can repair both cast iron and cast aluminum.  Many times customers are not sure whether the item that needs repair is made of iron or aluminum.  A simple check on material type can be made with a magnet: a magnet will stick to iron but not to aluminum.

I have a repair project that requires welding, but I have no way of getting it to your shop. Can you help me?

We have truck-mounted welders and we can come to you.  Of course, you can save money on repairs if you are able to bring the item(s) that need repair to our shop.

I have metal equipment that needs repaired, but I think it is missing a piece. How would I go about getting it fixed?

We are not a machine shop, but we may be able to fabricate new parts or modify existing parts.   Contact us for a quote.
